Meet The Team

Christopher A. Raber joined Imperial Realty Appraisal in 2011 and now owns and leads the firm. Mr. Raber has prepared valuations and market studies on proposed, partially completed, renovated, and existing structures, including self storage, office buildings, shopping centers, restaurants, industrial buildings, multi-family properties, vacant land, mixed-use, retail, special purpose, and single-tenant net lease properties. He specializes in appraisals, portfolio valuations, and market rent studies, and provides clients with acquisition/disposition counseling, valuations for tax appeals, and financing.

James E. Bahnick, MAI, SRA is the founder of Imperial Realty Appraisal and brings more than 40 years of appraisal experience to every assignment. He holds the State Certified General Appraiser license in Pennsylvania and has earned both the prestigious MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute.

Mr. Bahnick was past president of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Appraisal Institute (1999) and was a founding Board of Director member of the new Keystone Chapter. His client work specializes in commercial, industrial, office, apartment, and land subdivision appraisals.

He has provided expert testimony before the Northampton and Lehigh County Assessment Hearing Boards and the County Court of Common Pleas. Jim now serves as a senior consultant to the firm, mentoring the next generation of appraisers while continuing to advise on the most complex assignments.
